Dhaka: Khokon Barua from Sukhbar.com took home the championship in the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) Indoor Games Shooting event held at the club premises today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Kajal Hazra from Daily Kalbela and Tariqul Islam Masum from Channel i secured second and third places, respectively. The competition was organized to commemorate the 71st founding anniversary of the National Press Club, drawing participation from 75 of its members.
The event was supervised by Shahnaz Begum Poly, the convener of the Sports Sub-committee, while Anwar Uddin, a committee member, conducted the proceedings. Present at the event were National Press Club treasurer Bakhtiar Rana, management committee members Kazi Rawnak Hossain and AKM Mohsin, along with senior and new members, including sports subcommittee members Parag Arman, Md. Anwar Hossain, Shirin Sultana, Raschida Afzalun Nessa, Mofizur Rahman Khan Babu, DM Amirul Islam Amar, and Abdullah Majumder.
The six-day indoor game competition for the club members concluded with the air-gun shooting event.
