CAS Parade for Batch-2025 Recruitment Held

Rajendrapur: The Army Chief (CAS) Parade of the 2025 batch of the Ordnance and EME corps of the Bangladesh Army was held yesterday. The parade took place at the Ordnance Centre and School (OC and S) located in Rajendrapur.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the GOC of Logistics Area, Major General Md Mostagausur Rahman Khan, attended the parade as the chief guest and received salutes. Additionally, a separate CAS Parade for the 2025 batch of the EME corps was conducted at the EME Centre and School (EMEC and S) in Syedpur cantonment in Nilphamari. Major General SM Zia-ul-Azim, Chairman of the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, was present as the chief guest at this event and took salutes.



The parades marked the induction of new soldiers into the Bangladesh Army’s Ordnance and EME corps. The chief guests at both events emphasized the army’s proud traditions and the significant role played by the Ordnance and EME corps in national service. They urged the new recruits to prepare themselves for the challenges of the 21st century through modern and comprehensive training programs.



Furthermore, the chief guests encouraged the soldiers to commit themselves to the service of the nation. The events were attended by senior military and civil officers, JCOs, soldiers of other ranks, invited guests, family members of the newly recruited soldiers, and media representatives.
