Khaleda Zia’s Health Shows Signs of Improvement, Confirms Zahid

London: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain has announced that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is reportedly experiencing an improvement in her physical condition.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Zahid made this statement as the chief guest at an Iftar Mahfil organized by Zia Parishad, UK, held in East London, United Kingdom. During his address, he mentioned that Khaleda Zia is receiving regular medical care from doctors who are visiting her at home.

The event was organized with the intention of praying for Khaleda Zia's recovery. Dr. Zahid conveyed Khaleda Zia's wishes for a holy Ramadan to the people of the country. He emphasized the importance of adhering to constitutional principles and ensuring good governance according to the law for a better future.

The Iftar Mahfil was chaired by BNP's UK branch President Professor Dr. Saiful Alam Chowdhury. Other notable speakers included Chairperson's Adviser and UK BNP President MA Malek, General Secretary and National Executive Committee member Koysor M Ahmed, filmmaker Jobayer Babu, and Zia Parishad UK Advisor Advocate Rezaul Karim. The event was hosted by Zia Parishad Senior Joint General Secretaries Kabi Kawsar and Ahsan Uddin Monir.
