Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has received an invitation to participate in a discussion commemorating the 50th anniversary of "National Revolution and Solidarity Day."
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP central publicity secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku presented the invitation letter to the former prime minister on Sunday night. Tuku met with the BNP Chairperson at her Gulshan residence, Firoza, following directives from BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and personally delivered the formal invitation to her.
