Panchagarh:The majestic peak of Kanchenjunga has emerged clearly over Panchagarh, offering breathtaking views and delighting nature enthusiasts for the third consecutive day. The snow-capped summit of the world's third-highest mountain is visible against the clear blue sky, captivating residents and visitors alike.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the clear visibility of Kanchenjunga from Panchagarh is due to the current cloudless skies, as stated by Jitendranath Roy, acting officer-in-charge of the Tetulia Weather Observatory. He noted that these conditions might persist for a day or two, although cloud cover could return by October 31.

The mountain's appearance from various parts of the northern district has prompted many to capture and share the stunning views on social media. Residents and visitors, including photographer Firoz Al Sabah, schoolteacher Shawon Imran, and local resident Moin Uddin, expressed their excitement and shared their experiences online. The opportunity to witness such a natural spectacle from Bangladesh without traveling abroad is a significant draw for tourists and locals, especially during the recent Durga Puja holidays, despite earlier weather-related disappointments.

As the monsoon season recedes, the likelihood of viewing Kanchenjunga increases, attracting photographers, travelers, and nature lovers eager to experience its distant beauty. The mountain, rising 8,586 meters along the India-Nepal border, offers a mesmerizing sight, especially during sunrise when its snow-covered slopes are bathed in hues of red and pink.
