Dhaka: National Consensus Commission Vice President Prof. Ali Riaz announced today that the commission is set to submit clear, definite, and comprehensive recommendations for implementing the July National Charter 2025 to the government by October 31, the extended deadline.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof. Ali Riaz made these remarks during a press briefing focused on preparations for the July National Charter 2025 signing ceremony, which is scheduled to take place at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban tomorrow. He emphasized that the commission is committed to implementing the recommendations to ensure a smooth transition.
Prof. Riaz assured that the government would initiate the implementation process promptly, through concrete steps that involve the participation of all stakeholders. He acknowledged that the people’s aspirations for democracy and state reform, which have faced numerous obstacles, are partially captured in the July Charter. The commission aims to address these asp
irations through its forthcoming recommendations.
