Dhaka: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal today announced the formation of a dedicated medical team aimed at providing essential health guidelines as part of its seven-day dengue prevention awareness campaign across districts, metropolitan cities, and their subordinate units.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the establishment of the medical team was directed by Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan MP. The team is coordinated by Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee Vice-President Dr. Lohani Mohammad Tajul Islam.
The medical team comprises former assistant health affairs secretary of the central executive committee, Dr. Jahangir Hossain, Health Secretary Dr. Galib Hasan, Health Secretary Dr. Belal Hossain Nazim, Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Mahmudul Hasan Khan Sumon, Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Al Mamun Hasan Khan Emil, and former vice-president of Dhaka District Chhatra Dal, Dr. Amirul Islam Pavel.
Dr. Belal Hossain Nazim, a member of the newly formed medical team, emphasized the purpose of the team's formation. He stated, "Our medical team has been formed to make people aware of dengue. The team has already started working. As Jubo Dal activists, we are always ready to implement every initiative of the Prime Minister."
Highlighting the importance of awareness in combating dengue, Dr. Nazim advised the public to maintain cleanliness, eliminate stagnant water, prevent the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes, use mosquito nets, and seek medical advice promptly if fever symptoms appear.
