JU Decides to Relocate Proposed Fine Arts Building, Open Two New Disciplines

Jahangirnagar University: Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities have decided to relocate the fine arts faculty building to a new place and open two new disciplines under the proposed faculty.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, these decisions were taken in an emergency syndicate meeting held on Monday with the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan, presiding over the session.



“Today the syndicate has decided to relocate the proposed fine arts faculty building to the university’s Prantik gate area,” said Professor Kamrul Ahsan during a media briefing following the meeting. He further announced the introduction of two additional disciplines, namely calligraphy and typography and Islamic arts and architecture, under the proposed faculty.
