Dhaka: The sitting of the 2nd session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad, which is the budget session for 2026, has been adjourned until 3pm on June 8. The announcement was made by Speaker Hafizuddin Ahmed Bir-Bikram at 6.10pm on Sunday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision to adjourn the session was taken to allow for further discussions and preparations ahead of the continuation of the budget session. The session, being a critical part of the legislative process, is expected to resume with discussions on key financial decisions for the upcoming fiscal year.
