JS body recommends for recruiting manpower for CMH

The parliamentary standing committee on the ministry of defense today recommended for taking necessary steps for employing required manpower at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

The recommendation came at the 24th meeting of the committee held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here with its Chairman Mohammad Subid Ali Bhuiyan in the chair.

The committee also discussed in detail about the programmes of Bangladesh Meteorological Department and the initiatives taken for modernization of Department of Land Records and Survey, said a Parliament Secretariat press release here today.

Committee members Muhammad Faruque Khan, MP, M illius Uddin Mollah, MP, Nazmul Hasan MP, M Nasir Uddin MP, Mohammad Mohibur Rahman MP and Nahid Ijhar Khan, MP, among others, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the committee members recalled the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujb and other martyrs members of their family who were brutally killed on August 15 in 1975 with deep respect.

Similarly, all the martyrs who were killed in the grenade attack on August 21 in 2004 were also remembered by the committee.

Concerned parliament secretariat officials, senior defense ministry and high profile officials from three services including the senior secretary of the defense ministry, among others, attended the meeting.
