Dhaka: The Bangladesh Army-led Joint-forces today arrested 15 miscreants while conducting a joint raid in Ganaktuli City Colony area of Hazaribagh here today, according to a release of Inter-Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR). According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the joint-forces led by 46-infantry brigades of the Bangladesh Army acted on secret information to carry out the operation. During the raid, they recovered various items including sharp weapons, contraband drugs, mobile phone sets, Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) cards, and Taka in cash from the apprehended individuals. The arrested individuals, along with the seized materials, have been handed over to the police and representatives of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) for further investigation and legal proceedings. The special drive is part of the Bangladesh Army's ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in collaboration with civil authorities. It is conducted under the directive 'In Aid to Civil Power,' which alig ns with the directives of the Interim Government, as stated in the release.
