RANGPUR: The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) of Rangpur District commemorated its 46th founding anniversary today with a series of vibrant programs throughout the city. The celebrations included a jubilant procession led by Sharif Newaz Joha, the district unit's convener, starting from the Zilla School ground and concluding at the BNP office located at the Grand Hotel Intersection.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the procession moved through key areas of the city, including Kachari Bazar, City Bazar, Payra Chattar, Jahaj Company intersection, Grand Hotel, and Shapla Chattar. The event featured speeches from several prominent figures, including the district JCD convener Sharif Newaz Joha and other leaders.
Notable speakers at the rally included Rangpur District BNP Member-secretary Anisur Rahman Laku, District Jubo Dal President Nazmul Alam Naju, Metropolitan Jubo Dal Senior Joint Convener Zahir Alam Noyon, its Member-secretary Atiqul Islam Lelin, District Jubo Dal Joint General Secretary Akibur Rahman Monu, and former District JCD President Moniruzzaman Hizbul. Leaders and activists from various levels of the district JCD were also in attendance.
Additionally, a separate procession was organized by the Rangpur Metropolitan JCD, led by its member-secretary Al Imran Sujon, which also concluded at the BNP office. Rangpur Metropolitan JCD leaders and activists participated in the event, marking the occasion with enthusiasm.
