Dhaka: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) central Joint General Secretary Md. Tariqul Islam Tariq has stood by a Dhaka University student and given financial assistance for his final year honors admission.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the student is a 2021-22 academic year student of the university’s Philosophy Department and a resident of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall. Sunday was the last day for his admission to the final year of his honors programme. However, due to his family’s financial crisis, he could not arrange the admission fees within the stipulated time, putting his academic career in jeopardy.
It is learned that in this critical situation, the student contacted Tariq through an elder brother from his own area who resides in Salimullah Muslim Hall. After learning the matter, Tariq directly verified the information through various channels and confirmed the truth of the situation. He then immediately sent the necessary money through a mobile banking service, enabling the admission process to be completed just within the deadline.
