Bangladesh: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced a special nationwide programme aimed at raising public awareness about dengue prevention through a comprehensive cleanliness drive. The initiative, set for September 13 and 14, is focused on ensuring a clean environment across educational institutions in the country.

According to United News of Bangladesh, JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin issued a press release detailing the campaign. The two-day event will involve activities designed to eliminate mosquito breeding sites on school and college grounds, thereby fostering a safe and healthy learning atmosphere for students.

The JCD's efforts are part of a broader Dengue Prevention and Cleanliness Campaign running for three months in 2026, aiming to educate the public and encourage environmental cleanliness across Bangladesh. This initiative reflects the organization's commitment to health and safety in educational settings.
