Jatiya Nagorik Committee Protests Attack on Bangladeshi Mission in Agartala.

Dhaka: The Jatiya Nagorik Committee today held a protest rally in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh protesting the attack on Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. After holding the rally this afternoon, the Nagorik Committee brought out a protest procession which ended at the National Shaheed Minar after parading key points of the Dhaka University campus. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, addressing the rally, the Nagorik Committee convener called for national unity and stated that the dream of making South Asia a region with harmony and mutual cooperation is repeatedly being hit by the current establishment in Delhi. The attack on the Bangladeshi Assistant High Commission was described as a violation of the Vienna Convention and a clear threat to sovereignty, drawing the attention of the international community to Delhi's aggression on neighboring countries. Nasir urged the countries being victimized by Indian aggression to unite on the issue of liberation, expressing Dhaka's rea diness to lead this anti-aggression unity. He also called upon all political parties, views, and paths that fought against fascism during the July revolution, to unite on the issue of protecting Bangladesh and its sovereignty. The rally was also addressed by Nagorik Committee member secretary Akhtar Hossain, alongside committee members Nizam Uddin, Manjur Al Matin, Pritam Das, Abdullah Al Amin, Ali Ahsan Jonayed, Saleh Uddin Sifat, Saif Mostafiz, and Monira Sharmin. Representatives of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee from different units took part in the rally.
