Visiting Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs in Japan Komura Masahiro today assured ongoing Japanese technical assistance in Bangladesh's endeavour of progress and prosperity.
He made the assurance while met with State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam at the State Guest House Padma this evening, a foreign ministry press release said.
Komura is visiting Bangladesh to attend the soft opening of newly built modern third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The Japanese vice minister lauded the recent development achievements in Bangladesh.
The two sides discussed with various aspects of bilateral collaborations including the civil aviation.
Alam reiterated the commitment of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to uphold the democratic process.
