Khulna: Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Mia Golam Parwar today declared that the party is determined to establish people’s rights and build a prosperous Bangladesh. He made these statements while distributing cash among destitute individuals affected by water logging in the Saravita area of Dumuria upazila.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Parwar, a former lawmaker, emphasized that removing waterlogging issues is not an overnight task, suggesting that an elected government could effectively address the problem. Parwar asserted that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami conducts its political activities for the benefit of the people, committed to building a society free from discrimination. He reiterated the party’s dedication to assisting the country’s populace, especially during disasters. Parwar urged t
he interim government to implement effective measures to resolve water logging. The event was attended by Ameer of Khulna district unit Jamaat-e-Islami Moulana Emran Hussain, Secretary Munsi Mizanur Rahman, and other leaders of the Dumuria upazila unit Jamaat.
