Jamaat Conducts Election Rallies Across Netrakona Constituencies

Netrakona: The leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami today organized election rallies under the Dharipalla (The Scales) symbol in three parliamentary constituencies of Netrakona district-Netrakona-3, Netrakona-4, and Netrakona-5. The rallies commenced at 9 am and continued throughout the day.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Jamaat's Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Ma'sum attended the rallies as the chief guest. Notable figures such as Central Executive Committee member Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan, RUCSU VP Mustakur Rahman Zahid, former district Ameer Maulana Enamul Haque, district Ameer Maulana Sadeq Ahmad Haris, and Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Mahbubur Rahman participated as special guests.

Speakers at the rallies claimed that successive governments over the past 54 years had deprived people of their rights. They urged the public to use their votes on February 12 to reject terrorism, extortion, corruption, harassment of women, and loan defaulters.

The Dharipalla symbol candidates include Masum Mostafa in the Netrakona-5 (Purbadhala) constituency, Md. Al-Helal Talukder in Netrakona-4 (Madan, Mohanganj, Khaliajuri), and Md. Khairul Kabir Niyogi in Netrakona-3 (Atpara-Kendua).

Thousands of leaders, activists, and general people from district and upazila levels attended the rallies.
