Jahangir Pays Tributes to Martyred Policemen at Police Memorial

Rajarbagh: Home Adviser Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) paid tributes to the martyred police personnel during the Great War of Liberation, marking the Independence and National Day. He honored the martyrs with a floral wreath at the Police Memorial, Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital at 8 am today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Md. Khuda Baksh Chowdhury and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam also paid respects to the fallen heroes. DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali, RAB Director General A. K. M. Shahidur Rahman, and President of Bangladesh Police Service Association, Additional IGP (Administration) Md. Matiur Rahman Sheikh, along with leaders of Bangladesh Police Women Network (BPWN), placed wreaths at the memorial in tribute.



A well-equipped police team provided a guard of honor, followed by the playing of a sad tune on the bugle to commemorate the sacrifices of the martyred police members.
