Gaza: At least 45 Palestinians died on Wednesday following Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Al Jazeera television channel, citing medical sources.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, more than 100 individuals were injured, with the number of casualties continuing to rise after a series of nighttime raids. The hostilities resumed on March 18 when Israel launched strikes targeting Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip, effectively ending a ceasefire that had been in place since January 2025.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office justified the military actions by citing Hamas’ rejection of proposals made after discussions with US envoy Steve Witkoff. The Israeli government stated that the operation’s objective was to secure the release of all Israeli hostages. Meanwhile, Hamas attributed the escalation of violence in Gaza to the actions of Israel and the United States.
