Khulna: Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Masud today emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility in building an ideal university. He called on all stakeholders to collaborate towards achieving this goal during a view-exchange session with university employees at the university auditorium.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Vice-Chancellor assured attendees that any problems faced by the university would be addressed promptly. He highlighted that coordinated efforts among the university community would foster a positive and productive environment conducive to educational excellence.
Professor Masud stressed the importance of professional ethics, urging employees to be punctual and to carry out their duties with sincerity and honesty. He encouraged them to treat the university as their own and to work with dedication and accountability, reiterating that the university operates under government regulations and employees are servants of the republic.
He addressed the employees’ job-related demands, promising to consider reasonable requests while warning that strict actions would be taken against any irregularities, disorder, or corruption. The employees welcomed the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor and pledged their full cooperation. Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, General Secretary of the Employees’ Association, also addressed the gathering, which included staff from various departments.
