According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BanglaFact clarified that the video circulating on Facebook of the young man holding a knife to the throat of a school girl is not from Bangladesh, but from India. The video has been widely shared across social media, leading to concerns and misinformation regarding the location of the incident.
BanglaFact, in its report, emphasized the importance of verifying the origins of such videos before sharing them online, as they can lead to unnecessary panic and misunderstanding among the public. The platform continues to work on debunking false claims and misinformation circulating in the region.
