Dhaka: Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pranay Verma today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat, said premier’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the visit by the Indian High Commissioner underscores the ongoing diplomatic engagement between India and Bangladesh. The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest during their meeting. The interaction is part of the regular diplomatic exchanges aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the neighboring countries.
