Indian Embassy hands over bus to Machhapuchchhre School

The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu handed over a bus to Machhapuchchhre Secondary School in Machhapuchchhre Rural Municipality-2 in Kaski district. The Embassy handed over the bus on Monday as part of the Nepal-India development partnership programme. Indian Embassy's military attachรฉ' Amit Sharma provided the bus to the school principal Santosh Acharya amid a function. On the occasion, school principal Santosh Acharya said that students coming from far away would now enjoy the bus ride on their way to school and back home. According to Principal Acharya, the school bus would be operated to ferry students from villages like Bharabhari, Karuwa, Mirsa, Dhiprang and other remote areas. The Machhapuchchhre Secondary School is a model community school in Kaski with around 700 students. Source: National News Agency RSS
