Dhaka:Illegal shops and structures occupying roads and footpaths from Mridha Bari WASA to Kajla in the capital were removed by the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the eviction drive resulted in the collection of TK 15,000 in fines through four cases against those illegally operating shops and obstructing public movement by placing goods on the roads.
The operation was led by DSCC Executive Magistrate Mohammad Aminul Islam, as stated in a press release.
