Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed on Sunday formally inaugurated the ‘Highlanders Park & Resort’, a modern resort at Thanchi, some 85 kms off from the Bandarban district headquarters.
The ‘Highlanders Park & Resort is situated over five acres of land and 1,000 feet above sea level.
Addressing the opening programme, the IGP said that Bangladesh Police is working for the welfare of the country and people. Besides, we are implementing various development projects for the welfare of the police force members and the welfare of the people, the IGP said.
“This resort has been built in Thanchi considering the facilities of the tourists,” he said.
