Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations have been postponed in Sylhet division until July 8 due to the ongoing flood situation in the division.
Chairman of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of Dhaka Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed the
decision to BSS.
He said the exams scheduled from July 9 will be held in the division as per scheduled. The exams have been postponed due to the flood situation and different school buildings are being used as shelter centres, he said.
The HSC and its equivalent exams are scheduled to begin on June 30 across the country.
