Cumilla: A housewife suffered a fatal electrocution incident at Kamalkandi Panchkitta village in Muradnagar upazila this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the victim, identified as 50-year-old Baby Begum, was the wife of Murshid Mia. The tragic event occurred when she attempted to remove a tree branch that was entangled with an electric line.
Following the incident, Baby Begum was immediately taken to the Muradnagar Upazila Health Complex. However, upon arrival, the on-duty doctor pronounced her dead.
The confirmation of the incident was provided by Muradnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zahidur Rahman.
