Dhaka: Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) conducted a surprise inspection of patrol operations by different law enforcement agencies in Dhaka metropolitan areas with a focus on maintaining public safety and law and order.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser engaged with security personnel on duty, instructing them to remain on maximum alert to ensure law and order across the country, including the capital. A press release from the Home Ministry detailed his inspection of various checkposts and checkpoints established by the police and other law enforcement agencies at crucial intersections and significant locations in the capital, as well as visits to several police stations.
The adviser commenced his inspection early in the morning, departing from his residence in Baridhara. His route included visits to New Market Police Station via Banani More, Bijoy Sarani (Novotheater), Manik Mia Avenue, Kalabagan, and Eden College.
Following the inspection, he returned to his Baridhara residence from Gulshan Police Station, passing by United Hospital and exploring several adjacent alleys on his way.
