Health Adviser Inspects Site for China-Funded Hospital in Nilphamari

Nilphamari: Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum inspected a proposed site for a 1,000-bed hospital, to be built with Chinese government assistance, in Charaikhola Union near Nilphamari town. The 24.89-acre site, located beside the local textile mill in Araji Charaikhola and Darowani Mouza, has been proposed for the hospital.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the health adviser also inspected the site proposed for building a permanent campus for Nilphamari Medical College. During her visit, she planted a sapling of a Krinkachura tree at the temporary campus with the teachers and students of the college.



The visit was joined by Director General of Health Services Professor Dr. Md Abu Zafar, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nairuzzaman, Principal of Nilphamari Medical College Professor Jimma Hossain, and other senior officials and local leaders.
