Chattogram: Health and Family Welfare Adviser Nurjahan Begum here today emphasized the need for prioritizing prevention over cure to enhance the national health system’s effectiveness. ‘Without adopting preventive measures, we cannot contain the current flow of patients and deliver them proper healthcare services in public hospitals,’ she stated.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser shared these insights while serving as the chief guest at a function marking the groundbreaking of the Chattogram Heart Foundation Hospital and Nursing Institute at Kattali in the city this afternoon.
