Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, an intrepid frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha. In a condolence message today, Rizwana Hasan, also the adviser to the Ministries of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Water Resources, said the early demise of Sharif Osman Hadi is an irreparable loss for the country and the nation.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rizwana Hasan mentioned that Sharif Osman Hadi was a fearless voice and a courageous organizer of the July Mass Uprising, and he was a source of inspiration for democracy-seeking people due to his uncompromising stance against injustice, oppression, and repression. The firmness, clarity, and sense of responsibility with which he articulated the language of the movement before the people will remain memorable in history, she added.
The adviser also highlighted Hadi's contribution to awakening the youth and building public opinion on issues of people's rights and justice. She noted that his life of struggle, ideals, and courage will inspire future generations to stand up against injustice. Rizwana Hasan prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed her deep sympathy to his bereaved family members, fellow fighters, and colleagues.
