Gratuity Cheques Distributed to Retired RCC Employees

Rajshahi:Gratuity cheques were distributed to retired employees of the Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) during a program in the City Hall Room in Nagar Bhaban. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event took place on Thursday afternoon, with RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton serving as the chief guest. He presented the gratuity cheques to the retirees and emphasized the collaborative efforts to develop Rajshahi into a cleaner, more beautiful, safer, and healthier city. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton highlighted the dedicated service of the retired employees, acknowledging their significant contributions to the development of the City Corporation and civic services. He noted that their professional efforts will be remembered. The event was presided over by RCC Secretary Sohel Rana. Other speakers included RCC's Chief Conservancy Officer and President of the Officers-Employees Welfare Fund, Sheikh Mamun Dollar, retired Store Officer Ahsan Habib Khokon, and Joint General Secretary of the RCC Employees Un ion, Mofazzal Hossain Maku. The welcome speech was delivered by RCC's Budget-cum-Accounts Officer, Shafiqul Islam Khan. The program was attended by RCC's Superintending Engineer Ahmad Al Moin Parag, Chief Health Officer Dr. FAM Anjuman Ara Begum, Chief Revenue Officer Abu Saleh Nur-E-Sayeed, and relevant RCC officers and employees, alongside the retired employees.
