Goyeshwar Chandra Roy Advocates for Tarique Rahman’s Leadership

Dhaka:BNP Standing Committee member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, MP, stated that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is following the legacy of his parents to promote the country's development and foster public trust in the BNP.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Goyeshwar emphasized the historical trust people have placed in BNP, citing the party's founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia as key figures who earned the nation's confidence. He asserted that no malicious force could hinder the nationalist ideology within Bangladesh.

He made these remarks during the founding anniversary event of the Jatiyatabadi Pragatishil Dal at the National Press Club. Goyeshwar highlighted the role of Ziaur Rahman post-independence in shaping the national identity and laying the foundation for the nation.

To advance under Tarique Rahman's leadership, Goyeshwar called for a sincere adherence to the ideologies of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia. He highlighted the importance of various factors, including culture, heritage, language, tradition, Liberation War spirit, and geographical boundaries, in building a national consciousness.

He concluded by stating that Tarique Rahman's position is a result of the people's will and trust, urging collective efforts to empower his leadership.
