Dhaka: The government has removed six Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Police) cadre, according to an official notification. The decision involves officers who were enrolled through the 41st BCS exam.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the home ministry issued the order stating that the six officers were dismissed under Rule 6(2) (A) of the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1981. This rule provides the legal framework for such actions within the civil service.
