Dhaka: The government has promoted 59 assistant superintendents of police (ASPs) to the rank of additional superintendents of police (Add SPs), the home ministry said in a statement today. The promotions are an important step in the career advancement of these officers, reflecting their contributions and dedication to their duties.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ministry’s public security division issued separate notifications naming the officers. With their promotions, these officers will now enjoy the 6th grade of the national pay scale, which is a significant milestone in their professional journey. The move is seen as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the police force by recognizing and rewarding the hard work and commitment of its personnel.
