Govt Plans to Launch BCS Information Academy in the City

Dhaka: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken a preliminary decision to establish the BCS Information Academy. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the skills of information service officials.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision was made during a recent meeting at the ministry, chaired by Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam. The proposed academy is set to be constructed at a convenient location in the city. Alam emphasized that the activities to establish the academy would commence during the current interim government, highlighting its potential role in skill development for information service officials.



Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana also underscored the importance of the academy, assuring that the ministry will work earnestly to ensure its establishment. The call for initiatives to set up the academy was made to the concerned officials of the ministry, signaling a concerted effort to bring this project to fruition.
