Dhaka: All civil servants working in the government, semi-government, and autonomous bodies, as well as members of the armed forces, will receive their salaries for the month of March along with the Eid-ul-Fitr bonus on March 23. The Ministry of Finance issued an order in this regard today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the retirement allowance for the month of March will also be disbursed to pensioners on March 23. The Ministry of Finance confirmed that this measure aligns with the provisions provided under the Subsidiary Rules (S.R.) 113 (2) of the Bangladesh Treasury Rules.
This directive ensures that government employees and pensioners have access to their financial entitlements ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, facilitating their preparations for the festive occasion.
