Govt Cancels Contract of Minister (Press) in Bangladesh High Commission

Delhi: The government has cancelled the contract of Faisal Mahmud, who served as the minister (press) at the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi, India.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Public Administration Ministry issued a notification regarding this decision. The notification, signed by senior assistant secretary Mohammad Mamun Shibly, stated that the contract was terminated for Mahmud’s remaining period in accordance with clause 8 of the contractual agreement between the government and Faisal Mahmud.



The notification further mentioned that the order, issued in public interest, is to take immediate effect.
