Implementation and Monitoring Committee Convener (Minister Level) Abul Hasnat

Abdullah today said that the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh

Hasina believes in balanced development policy.

“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government believes in balanced development

policy. Various departments are implementing comprehensive action plans for

the successful implementation of the current government’s Vision 2041 and the

achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of 2030,” he said.

Abul Hasnat said while addressing a meeting on upazila development with local

government officials and public representatives in Agailjhara upazila

parishad of Barishal district, an official handout said.

Upazila Chairman and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) were present there, the

handout added.

In past 14 years, LGED has completed the construction and development works

of about 74 thousand 702 kilometers of roads across the country including

Barishal to carry out infrastructure development activities in rural areas,

he said.

According to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 2018 election manifesto, the

‘Amar Gram-Amar Shahar’ program is being implemented to bring every village

under the purview of civic amenities, he added.
