Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuz Alam today announced that the government has implemented a zero tolerance policy towards social instability and any form of anarchy. Speaking at a media briefing held in the law ministry conference room, Mahfuz emphasized that all individuals, regardless of religion, caste, or gender, who engage in criminal activities or mob justice will face the full extent of the law.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the media briefing was attended by prominent figures, including Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul and Home Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. Mahfuz stressed that the government is committed to taking a firm stance against any form of anarchy or mob violence from this point forward.
Mahfuz further mentioned plans to engage with media personnel to discuss strategies for raising public awareness about law and order. He indicated that discussions might also involve the Ministry of Cultural Affairs to develop effective campaigns, including awareness videos, to educate the population on these issues.
