Dhaka: The government has called upon students to remain calm and not to get involved in any clash. "If any instigation is found behind such clashes, strict action will be taken," Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam stated today, following a series of clashes among students from several colleges in Dhaka city. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the government is actively monitoring the recent disturbances that have occurred in various educational institutions. Shafiqul Alam emphasized the need for students to maintain composure and avoid engaging in any form of conflict. The government is investigating potential provocations that may have led to these clashes, he added. Alam issued a stern warning that any efforts to destabilize the country, particularly within educational settings, would be met with firm resistance. The recent incidents included confrontations on Monday among students from Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul College, and Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. Additionally, a clash erupted last night involving students from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) and Dhaka Polytechnic Institute.
