Government Terminates Three Probationary Assistant Commissioners

Dhaka: The government has terminated three probationary Assistant Commissioners (ACs) from their positions as they were nearing the end of their probationary period in the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (administration) cadre. This decision was communicated through an official notification from the ministry of public administration.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the terminated BCS probationary ACs include Kazi Arifur Rahman from the Deputy Commissioner's office in Faridpur, Anup Kumar Biswas from the Deputy Commissioner's office in Bogura, and Nabmita Sarkar from the Deputy Commissioner's office in Pirojpur. The official notification stated that their termination orders received approval from the appropriate authority under Rules 6(2)(A) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Recruitment Rules Act, 1981.

The notification also indicated that if there are any outstanding financial dues from their service period, these can be recovered through the Public Demand Recovery Act, 1913. The termination order, issued in the public interest, is effective immediately.
