Natore:A German tourist's bag, containing a laptop, DSLR camera, and other valuables, remains missing after being taken at Natore Railway Station.

According to United News of Bangladesh, police and a special team from the SRB-5 Natore Camp are actively investigating the incident. Sub-Inspector Palash stated that the suspect was identified through CCTV footage, and efforts to apprehend the individual are ongoing.

The suspect's identification has been hampered by the lack of a trackable mobile device in the stolen bag, making the investigation more challenging. Additional Superintendent of Natore Police, Iftekhar Alam, noted that several police teams from the district are employing technological resources to resolve the case, alongside the SRB, railway police, and Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.

The incident involved Krill Lander Weber, a German national of Ukrainian origin, who visited heritage sites in Bogura on October 7 before traveling to Santahar Railway Station and then Natore. At Natore, he entrusted his bag to a young man he met in the station's waiting room while he withdrew money and purchased a ticket for Darshana, planning to travel to India through the Gede border crossing.

Upon returning, Weber found the young man and his bag missing, which led him to search the station in distress. Passengers directed him to Natore Sadar Police Station, where police quickly gathered CCTV evidence and initiated a search for the suspect. The absence of a trackable device in the stolen items has complicated the investigation.

A general diary was filed at the Natore police station, and Weber was sent to Rajshahi railway police on the night of October 7. He returned to Dhaka the following day. Misleading reports have appeared on social media about the incident, according to police officials.
