Rangamati:A free medical camp organized by the Bangladesh Army's Rangamati Region and the Combined Military Hospital provided healthcare services to more than 800 individuals at Rangamati Sadar Hospital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event included a medicine distribution program and was attended by Rangamati Sadar Zone Commander Lt Col Md Ekramul Rahat, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuyen Khisa, and Resident Medical Officer Dr. Shawkat Akbar, among other army officials.
Lt Col Ekramul Rahat highlighted the Bangladesh Army's commitment to maintaining law and order in the Chittagong Hill Tracts while actively contributing to the socioeconomic development and welfare of both indigenous hill communities and Bengali residents. He emphasized that these humanitarian efforts are intended to foster communal harmony and support the wellbeing of the local population.
Throughout the daylong event, patients received treatment for a variety of ailments, and free medicines were distributed to those in need.
