Four people have been appointed as members of Koshi Province Planning Commission.
The cabinet meeting held this evening decided to appoint Dr Sitaram Basnet of Kathmandu, Kishore Kumar Rai of Solukhumbu, Bhawani Prasad Baral of Dharan , Sunsari and Namita Neupane of Morang as members of the Provincial Planning Commission, according to Minister for Internal Affairs and Law and Government Spokesperson Lilaballav Adhikari.
A decision was also taken to constitute a ‘Political and Peace Talks Committee’ to resolve the issues related to political, economic and social identity in a peaceful manner through dialogue. The committee formed under the coordination of Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Ram Bahadur Magar, will include Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development Ganesh Upreti and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Lilaballav Adhikari and Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Lakshmi Prasad Paudel as member-secretary.
