Rangamati: Fish fry were distributed among 23 institutions in Sadar upazila today to release the fish fry in different water bodies.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the initiative aims to increase fish production in the district. The distribution was conducted by the officials of Sadar Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer under the revenue budget of the Fisheries Department. Fisheries Officer Adhir Chandra Das took charge of distributing the fish fry.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rifat Asma, commandant of Zila Ansar Md. Anwar Hossain, and social service officer Md. Abdur Rashid were present at the function. A total of 250 kg of fish fry was distributed among the 23 institutions of the upazila.
