A fire broke out at BM Container depot at Shitalpur in Sitakunda upazila on Tuesday.
Kafil Uddin, Fire Service and Civil Defense Control room said the fire broke out at a jhut container inside the depot at 3:15 pm and spread soon.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
However, what caused the fire could not be known immediately.
The fire broke out nearly six months after the deadly fire at the same depot that claimed lives of 51 people.
