At least six persons were killed and seven others injured when a truck skidded off the road and fell into a ditch near Udaipur border area in Sajek upazila of Rangamati this evening. The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. The incident took place in 90-Degree area on Udaipur border road, Baghaichhari upazila nirbahi office Shirin Akhter told BSS. She said army personnel recovered the bodies and injured workers and sent them to Khagrachhari General Hospital. They were engaged in Udaipur border road construction work, Shirin Akhter added.
