Motijheel: A fire that broke out at a three-storey commercial building adjacent to Shahjalal Islami Bank in the city’s Motijheel area this evening has been brought under control.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell reported that four units from Siddik Bazar Fire Station reached the spot at 6:28pm and managed to bring the blaze under control by 7:14pm.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, and no casualties have been reported so far.
